Hamza
Ex Student and valued member of our team
Hamzas time at Fortune College was a life-changing experience that shaped his independence and confidence, preparing him for life beyond college. Over three years, the program equipped Hamza with essential skills that have continued to benefit him personally and professionally.
When Hamza joined FCRT, he was shy and lacked self-confidence. Through learning horsemanship and working closely with therapy horses, teachers, and peers, he developed a stronger sense of self, built inner confidence, and formed meaningful friendships—something he had previously struggled with.
The guidance from the horses and our dedicated instructors enabled Hamza to step outside his comfort zone and achieve his goals. Since graduating 12 years ago, the skills he gained at FCRT have helped him adapt to various work environments and excel in his passions.
Hamza shares, “I genuinely believe I wouldn’t be who I am today without the support and dedication of the fantastic teachers and assistants at The Fortune Centre.”
One of Hamza’s proudest achievements has been his success in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he has competed and won multiple IBJJF international matches and national tournaments, continuing to use the lessons learned at FCRT in all aspects of his life.
